AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal release, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
